What a whirlwind of a weekend! Emily and I are determined to get down to Marburger before closing day — there’s just too much to see, and we have to keep people from buying our stuff! We made it from the General Store to “down the hill”, the Volcik house to the folk tents, and just about everywhere in between.
It turns out Marburger had it’s best show ever – with rumors of numbers that envy some Texas towns. No kidding. Most dealers regaled us with stories of jam-packed booths, eager shoppers who wanted to be educated, and (most interestingly) a younger demographic. (Remember, friends, rule number one of shopping: spend money! Prove our demographic is more than DIY-only!) For the best antiques on the face of the planet, the wait was worth it! And, as always, we still made great purchases that we’ll share with you in this series.
As we organize our thoughts and photos, here’s proof that the Attic Birds are committed to always finding fun!
We absolutely LOVED being a part of the experience, and hope to do it again in the fall! (Start planning now! Sept 29 – Oct 3!) Thank you, Marburger!!!
