As you’d assume, Emily and I started our Marburger shopping lists months ago. I’m still searching for that perfect stained glass window for our house, and Emily was keeping her eye out for small home decor items, particularly pedestals and urns. We also were on the look out for items that just couldn’t be passed up — and boy, did we find them! Unfortunately, not everything we wanted made it home (au revoir, French jelly cabinet)….but a few things did! Here is the round-up of our goodies:

wpid-20150428_220226.jpg The Judge decanter — how awesome is this?! Whether it’s “don’t judge” or “invoking the Judge” or “I need to see the Judge”…. this decanter is definitely the star of the bar.

wpid-wp-1430276885867.jpgA gold bangle – so simple and sweet, a great addition to my ever-growing arm party.

wpid-20150428_220240.jpg A copper-ish vase.

wpid-20150428_220341.jpg Fish and sea-creature lithos — I’m thinking I’ll hang them in a square of four, with a highlight of mat color — just not sure which room they’ll join.

Emily’s bird prints.

Emily and I are both excited to add these curated items into our home decor. And, with the amount of fun we had (captured here), we have already added to their historical story.

We had an absolute blast at Marburger Farm. How much fun, you ask? Sooooo much fun that the end bit of Anderson-Cooper-Gerard-Depardieu-induced giggling is a mere fraction of what actually happened! (have you watched our video??)

We hope to see you in the Fall!

In photo order, many thanks to these dealers: Collectors Corner (thanks again, Buffy!), Two Vagabonds Vintage, Commandant’s Cottage Antiques and Books
