Perhaps it’s that I watched the Oscars and was reminded what a great movie “Hidden Figures” was (truly – if you haven’t seen it, stop whatever you’re doing and watch it now!) – but I have a newfound appreciation for anything that’s slightly behind the curtain or even hidden in plain sight. This also ties in to what Emily recently posted about – political and suffrage jewelry, with meanings far beyond the obvious. Enter this fantastic ring, for sale by my friend Lizzy:
She notes: “One of my favorites. Acrostic anything. Rebus anything. Love the stones in this vintage ‘Dearest’ ring. Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Topaz.” WHAT. I had no idea this was a thing! Leave it to the Victorian’s to have not only exquisite jewelry, but to have such with deep meaning. (remember these lover’s rings?)
When you can’t say it out loud – or want to gift the constant reminder – say it with STONES!
Need this for yourself or your DEAREST? (it’s 9ct and size 6.25) Contact Lizzy HERE
